Having done the typical UK climbs, like Snowdon, Scafell Pike and Ben Nevis, I wanted to start exploring the many other mountains that the UK has to offer The first set of mountains I wanted to explore was the Glyders and Tryfan in Wales The starting point for this hike is Ogwen Warden Centre, Nant Ffrancon, Bethesda (Postcode LL57 3LZ), the car park is pay and displayThese neighbouring summits combine rugged terrain and incredible views with relatively easy access This circular walk starts from the shores of lovely Llyn Ogwen, ascending Glyder Fawr via the Devil's Kitchen and some challenging rocky scree Between the two summits, be sure to look out for the famous Castle y Gwynt or (Castle of Winds) and the over hanging balanced rock, known as the Cantilever The Cantilever rock upon Glyder Fawr 8 Once you've passed your 2nd peak, bare to the east toward miners track
